Introducing The Panasonic Tx-P50G20 Tv

The Panasonic Tx-P50G20 - A First Review

The Panasonic Viera Tx-P50G20 is a 50" plasma television set and is determined to be a lower mid-range model. This range of television is being produced by Panasonic to give you the best value for the money. The plasma screen on this Tv set is 12th generation, and means that it uses considerably less vigor than the plasma screens made prior to this one.

Besides being a good value, this Panasonic Tx-P50G20 television is tougher than some. The new screen on this model has a new "tough panel" technology. What this means to you is that this screen will withstand small impacts and not be damaged. As with other Tv's in this line up, it comes with just the basic features you would expect.

In increasing to being scratch and dent resistant, this Panasonic Tx-P50G20 Hd television has a screen display that would amaze you. The screen has a 1920 x 1080 pixel rating and gives you a perfectly clear photo from any distance. There is of course, a recommended viewing length in the Tv's owner's guide.

There seems to be some kind of competition between Panasonic and Sony over how many "Hertz your screen resolution operates on. The number to match is "600 Hertz" and Sony is marketing this heavily. Now Panasonic is telling its potential customers that they have "600 Hertz exciting Frame Creation Pro" on their Tv sets. The trick here is that Panasonic has a sub title to this and it is "sfd", that's short for "sub field drive". Panasonic is a wee ahead in technology and is assuredly displaying its pixels in 100 Hertz but because of the "Intelligent Frame Creation", there is full fluid motion.

The most leading thing to look for when buying a television would be the picture. It assuredly does not matter what numbers and letters the firm holds up to the technical customer, it all comes back to the photo that you see.

During special wave length tests, it was reported that the Tx-P50G20 Tv set exhibited a small number of flickering, not noticeable to the viewing eye. There were also rumblings of some flickering during Dvd movie viewing.

The Panasonic Viera Tx-P50G20 television set scored very high in photo resolution tests. The photo was defined as only a wee number off of perfect. When it came to the divergence test, it was perfect. The testing also revealed that the photo was the same from all angles.

As stated above, this Tx-P50G20 television comes with just the basic features. The Panasonic Viera Tx-P50G20 does come with a place for Sd and Sdhc cards so it can play digital Jpeg and Avchd videos but offers no other multimedia type viewing equipment.

The Panasonic Viera Tx-P50G20 comes ready to receive all the current types of transmission in use today. There is one potentially aggravating omission though. The Tv set is not qualified to use the new C1 Plus access that some cable clubs are contemplating switching to.

The Panasonic Tx-P50G20 is all round very good value for the money. Aside from its wee basic capabilities and the face opening of being in an area only serviced by a cable firm with C1 Plus aid in the future, this television comes extremely recommended and will give your house many years of good capability television viewing.
